Creating a loose Brighton&Hove Artist-Medic group, to foster the scenius principle.
Initially wondering how we can combine interests in Health & Wellbeing, Art, Dermatology and FABRICA gallery.
Note this interesting research with Professor Christopher Griffiths.

Feeling the pulse
Taking project “Hope” and allowing the poem-painting combinations, to evolve into pulsating land- & sound-scapes, that move the heart.
A large installation, diving into and through the imagery of these worlds, pulsing to the sounds.

How to combine interests in helping people, health and art.
A way to promote health and improve the local environment, document the local scene, help fundraise for patients and the community, promote creative community activities & artists and tell stories. We would also like to interactively understand the effect visual art has in wellbeing with some research (Connect, Learn, Give).
#deBooklog
A way to help remember things I’m reading, dipping into & learning. Now moving into sound, I will also include audiobooks I am listening to.
With a co-located medical centre and library, I’m happy to promote reading, listening, learning & books (Notice, Learn, Give – see instagram gallery in the footer below and here #deBooklog).
HOPE – Illustrating poetry for Jaya & Ellie
Working with an old friend to illustrate a book of his poetry.
Donations will help Jaya create a legacy to support his daughter Ellie and charities. The book is ready -if you want to support, then share the idea, donate via JayaRavindran.com and receive a copy of the book.
Excerpt from the introduction:
“…a way to express the experiences of my illness and its treatment especially as a doctor and now a patient. I also intend, with this book to raise some funds for Bloodwise and the Anthony Nolan Trust whilst also raising awareness to encourage people, particularly of ethnic minorities, to put themselves on the bone marrow register…”

This series of artworks explores love, understanding, compassion, unity, multiplicity and dualities.
If you are interested in the artwork, please first donate to Jaya’s cause.
